How do I find the qibla direction?

1. Open the qibla screenAllow location so the bearing is calculated from where you actually are, not from a saved city hundreds of kilometres away.
2. Hold the phone flatKeep the phone level, palm up, away from laptops, speakers, car dashboards and anything magnetic. These are what push a compass off.
3. CalibrateMove the phone in a slow figure-eight two or three times until the needle settles and stops drifting.
4. Confirm on the mapSwitch to the map view, which draws the line from your position to Mecca, and match it to a wall or street you can see. Now you can pray with confidence.
