How do I know when to break my fast?
The fast begins at Fajr and ends at Maghrib, and Pray Assist counts down to iftar, plays the Maghrib adhan at the exact moment the fast ends, and reminds you before sahur closes.
Two moments matter
Sahur ends when Fajr begins, and iftar begins when Maghrib arrives. Both are calculated for your own coordinates, so they are correct for your street and not for the capital city.
The countdown
During Ramadan the home screen shows the time remaining until iftar rather than a generic next prayer, and the widget shows the same.
Reminders you can set
Ask for a reminder a set number of minutes before sahur ends, and let the Maghrib adhan mark iftar. Both can be adjusted per prayer.
