Prayer times & qibla

Which prayer time calculation methods are supported?

Pray Assist supports the widely used regional calculation conventions, the asr madhab choice, and high-latitude rules for places where the sun does not set properly in summer.

Regional conventions

The established methods used across different regions are all available, differing mainly in the twilight angles used for Fajr and Isha.

Asr madhab

Choose between the two shadow-length conventions for Asr; the difference is roughly an hour in some seasons.

High latitude

Where twilight never fully ends in summer, choose a high-latitude rule so Fajr and Isha stay usable instead of collapsing into each other.
