How do I ask a scholar a question?
To ask a scholar in Pray Assist, search the existing answer library first, then write your question with its context, choose your school of fiqh, and send it.
- Search firstMost questions have already been answered and published. Searching takes a moment and often ends the matter there.
- Write the question with its contextState the situation, not only the question. Where you live, what happened, what you have already done — a ruling frequently turns on exactly this.
- Choose your schoolSelect the school of fiqh you follow so the answer is given within it, and any difference with the others is noted.
- Send and waitYou are told when the question is received and notified when the answer arrives, usually within a day or two. The answer stays in your inbox and you can ask a follow-up on it.
