Can I count dhikr with the volume button or my Watch?
You can count dhikr in Pray Assist with the phone's volume buttons while the screen is off, or on Apple Watch with a tap on the wrist, so your eyes stay off the screen.
Screen off
Enable volume button counting and the phone can stay in your pocket or face down while you count.
On the wrist
The Watch counter is closer to counting on beads: a tap and a small haptic, nothing to look at.
One total
Counts from phone and Watch go to the same total rather than two separate numbers.
